Victor Osimhen To Chelsea transfer deal is almost done according to reports.
The Genius Media gathered that Victor Osimhen’s former teammate drops big hint he is about to join Chelsea.
The story of the final few days of the transfer window as far as Chelsea are concerned is going to revolve around one man in particular.
Victor Osimhen has been mentioned as a target for the Blues for well over a year now, after establishing himself as one of the top strikers in world football.
Originally, it was believed there were some doubts over how Osimhen would fit in Enzo Maresca’s system.
However, he has remerged at the top of their list for strengthening up top, with talk of outcast Romelu Lukaku going the other way on a permanent deal.
The saga could well run all the way until deadline day, with that being a theme of business being done under Todd Boehly in recent years.
Osimhen’s former teammate says he is joining Chelsea
One of Osimhen’s former teammates for Nigeria though has seemed to hint that a deal to Stamford Bridge could be on the cards.
John Ogu took to social media today to insinuate the move was looking like a formality right now.
He said: “OSIMHEN TO CHELSEA… Here we go !!!”

It is likely that the deal will have to be done on Chelsea’s terms if it is to go ahead, with a potential loan move being brought up by the Blues as one way of getting it done.
Osimhen could take Nicolas Jackson’s place at Chelsea
If Osimhen was to join the club, it remains to be seen how Nicolas Jackson would react to some serious competition for his place in the squad.
The Senegal international will no doubt be pleased with the contribution he made during his first campaign in English football, however is by no means guaranteed a place in the starting side should the Napoli man make the move.
Chelsea may well be waiting for one or two more sales before signing off on a big signing, with the likes of Raheem Sterling strongly linked with a move away this summer.
