Popular Nigerian musician and songwriter Peter Okoye also known as Mr. P from the defunct group P-Square has officially joined the movie industry, Nollywood.
Aside from his singing career, Peter Okoye is a businessman and a dancer. He has been in the music industry for quite a number of years. He used to sing together with his twin brother Paul also known as Rudeboy until they separated about three years ago over some family misunderstanding which is yet to be sorted out.

Peter Okoye has been appearing in comedy skits but it appears he has taken his acting talent to another level by joining the bigger umbrella, Nollywood. Mr. P has been spotted in one of the comedy skits of Mr. Macaroni where he played the role of an Igbo businessman.
After the comedy skit came out, his fans and followers hailed him and advised him to go into acting because he is good at music and acting. It appears Peter Okoye has heeded the advice of his fan as he has officially joined the movie industry.
Peter Okoye happens to have shot his first movie titled Shanty Town with other big stars. Controversial Nollywood actor, Zubby Michael took to his page to announce the joining of the artist in the movie industry. Zubby Michael took his page to share a photo of himself, Peter Okoye, legendary actor Richard Mofe and announced that Peter has shot his first movie with them.
