Another sad news has surfaced social media barely a week after the demise of Pastor Adeboye’s son. Another General Overseer, Pastor Elijah Ab ina has lost his son, Emmanuel.
Death has laid its icy hands on Pastor Emmanuel Folorunso Abina, the son of General Overseer of Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT), Pastor Elijah Abina. He died at 53.
Ghgossip understands that the Emmanuel Abina who is also a founding father of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria passed away on Wednesday, April 28, eight days before sad news dawned the Adeboye family.
According to the press released obtained, Emmanuel reportedly died after a brief illness. A close source to the church management said that his son was until his transition, the pastor in charge of the Kingdom House Aseembly of the Church situated in Festac Town, Lagos State.
Emmanuel was reported to be the Director of the church media, a part time position he took while he was serving as the rallying point for youths in the church.
GOFAMINT General Secretary identified as Pastor S.O. Omowumi released a statement which announced his death. It reads;
“With heavy heart but in total submission to the sovereignty of the Supreme God, we announce the passing onto glory of our brother, our pastor and a member of the Executive Council of The Gospel Faith Mission International, Pastor Emmanuel Folorunso Abina, on Wednesday, 28 April, 2021.
“Gone too soon but we praise the Almighty God for the life Pastor Folorunso lived and the indelible impact he made in the church, particularly among the youth.
“May the Lord Jesus Christ comfort our General Overseer, the immediate and extended family as well as the church.”
