BREAKING: Super Eagles Vs Rwanda 2025 AFCON Qualifiers Starting Lineup [FULL LIST] – #NGARWA—Super Eagles caretaker coach Augustine Eguavoen has announced his starting eleven for the highly anticipated 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matchday six showdown against the Amavubi of Rwanda.

The Genius Media Nigeria reports that The Super Eagles vs Rwanda clash is set to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, with kickoff scheduled for 5:00 PM Nigeria time today, November 18.

In goal, Udinese goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, will step in to replace Stanley Nwabali, who is currently unable to play due to a personal bereavement. Okoye, known for his agile shot-stopping abilities and solid presence in the box, aims to deliver a commanding performance in this crucial encounter.

On the defensive front, Bright Osayi-Samuel has been tasked with taking over the right-back position, filling in for the injured Ola Aina. Osayi-Samuel is expected to showcase his pace and defensive skills, providing both stability and support in overlapping runs. Meanwhile, Bruno Onyemaechi from Boavista retains his place at left-back, bringing his experience and tactical awareness to the backline.

The central defence will feature captain William Troost-Ekong, alongside Gabriel Osho, forming a formidable partnership at the heart of the defence. Troost-Ekong’s leadership and defensive prowess will be pivotal in handling the attacking threats from the Rwandan side.

In midfield, a three-man setup will see Frank Onyeka, Alhassan Yusuf, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru working in tandem to control the tempo of the game. Onyeka’s combative style, Yusuf’s creativity, and Dele-Bashiru’s ability to break lines are anticipated to provide a well-rounded midfield presence, facilitating transitions from defence to attack.

Leading the attacking line will be Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface. Boniface will be flanked by the dynamic duo of Moses Simon and Kelechi Iheanacho, both of whom are known for their flair and ability to create scoring opportunities. Simon’s pace on the wing combined with Iheanacho’s finishing skills will pose a significant threat to the Rwandan defense.

Note that Rwanda are condemned to win this game to stand a chance of qualifying for the 2025 AFCON. On the other hand, the Super Eagles are playing for pride as they have already booked themselves a place in the tournament.
