A Nigerian woman expresses distress after her husband allegedly deleted her newly monetized Facebook page, which had already generated over $200 (₦329,500).
Facebook user MamaAfrica Nkeoma Adikaibe shared this incident on social media, seeking public reactions on how they would handle such a situation.
According to Nkeoma’s post, the woman revealed that her page had two viral posts that continued to gain traction and revenue before the deletion.
In her words: “My husband deleted my monetized Facebook page that had two viral posts and had earned over $200. It was supposed to keep spreading and earning, but my husband deleted the page. 💔”
Nkeoma further explained that the woman had dedicated significant effort to growing her page to monetization status. However, her husband reportedly disapproved of her online content creation, ultimately leading to the page’s deletion.
“That’s a message from a lady that has worked hard to build her Facebook page to monetization recently. Just when she started earning her husband deleted her Facebook account that he doesn’t want her to be doing any content on Facebook…,” she clarified.
