A Nigerian man expresses reservations about the Nigeria Police Force while proudly celebrating his mother’s retirement after 35 years of dedicated service to the Force.
On X (formerly Twitter), user @vhic_tore shared a heartfelt message along with striking photos of his mother in her police uniform, celebrating her career and integrity.
“After 35 years of service, My mom retires today. My superwoman ❤️,” he wrote.
Despite expressing some reservations about the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) due to personal experiences, he expressed deep admiration for his mother’s dedication and principles.
“The decadence in the NPF system almost made me hesitate doing this, been a victim myself a couple of times, but then again, I know my mom, I know her heart, and I know there’s still quite a number of good ones in uniforms out there so I’ll forever be proud I was raised by this amazing Policewoman ❤️,” he admitted.
His post has garnered widespread attention, with many joining in to celebrate his mother’s decades of commitment and her positive influence on those around her.
