Livebridge Property and Investment Limited has made a significant impact in the Karamajiji community of Abuja by providing free medical services to approximately 1,000 Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) and individuals living with disabilities. This outreach event, held on Friday, aimed to address the pressing economic and healthcare challenges faced by vulnerable Nigerians.

The beneficiaries were offered comprehensive medical check-ups, essential medications, and various forms of humanitarian aid. In addition to these services, the company generously distributed food items, wheelchairs, and other vital supplies to assist those who are struggling in light of the current economic hardships plaguing the country.

At the heart of the event was Livebridge’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Nwaneri Obinna Flaker, who expressed his profound joy in being able to support those in need. “It is both a great pleasure and privilege to give back to the community. This initiative is part of our annual commitment to corporate social responsibility,” he stated.

Adding a personal touch to the occasion, Flaker noted that the outreach coincided with his birthday, making the event even more meaningful. “It gladdens my heart to use this special day to reach out to those in need,” he remarked.

Flaker also addressed the critical issue of healthcare affordability in Nigeria, urging the federal government to take more decisive action to enhance access to primary healthcare services. “The cost of medications is often beyond the reach of the average citizen. We believe the government should intervene, especially in primary healthcare delivery, as many Nigerians are unable to access these essential services,” he emphasized.

Ejembi Alice, Head of Customer Service at Livebridge, underlined the importance of supporting vulnerable communities during these challenging times. “If those who can support themselves are struggling, just imagine the plight of individuals with disabilities. That’s why we are here today—to offer relief and show compassion to this community.”

In a Spirit of happiness, the chief of Karamajiji community Alhaji Suleiman Muhammed expressed gratitude and prayed for the company Progress and Development, “We are very happy and we pray for more of this to come again” the chief stated.

Among the beneficiaries, Abdullah Yusuf expressed heartfelt gratitude to Livebridge for their support, stating, “We are very happy May God bless you.”
