Adaora Umeoji, the group managing director and chief executive officer of Zenith Bank Plc, recently led a delegation of executive directors and senior management staff on a visit to the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu. The visit took place at the monarch’s palace in Isale-Eko, Lagos Island.
Joining Umeoji were the bank’s directors, Adobi Nwapa and Akin Ogunranti; general manager, Olatilewa Akinwolore; and other senior management staff, as shown in photos shared on Instagram on Saturday.
The Oba of Lagos and his esteemed white cap chiefs, including Chief Opeluwa of Lagos (head of Lagos white cap chiefs), Chief Obanikoro of Lagos (secretary of Lagos white cap chiefs), Chief Agbeje of Lagos, Chief Olorogun Ide of Lagos, Chief Ojon of Lagos, Chief Bajulaiye of Lagos, Chief Egbe of Lagos, Chief Sasore of Lagos, Chief Suenu of Lagos, Chief Jakande of Lagos, and Chief Etti of Lagos, warmly welcomed the team from Zenith Bank.
Since her appointment as the replacement for Ebenezer Onyeagwu, Umeoji has been actively engaging with prominent figures and leaders. She has recently met with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote.
