Nigerian iconic singer, Innocent Idibia, professionally called Tubaba, has said Afrobeats superstar, Burna Boy is among the top five artistes in the world.
The ‘True Love’ crooner made the remark while reacting to a video of Burna Boy performing his hit song ‘Last Last’ at a festival in Europe.
According to Tubaba, his statement was from a place of inspiration, and he stated that the self acclaimed African Giant’s global stardom was “all a dream.”
He wrote; “Burna is in the Top 5 music artists in the world right now. I say this from an inspirational place, it was all a dream.”

Award-winning Hip Hop artiste, Tochukwu Ojogwu professionally known as Odumodublvck, earlier listed his top five Nigerian rappers of all time.
The rap star named his favourite emcees of Nigerian descent in an interview with The Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos. Interestingly, popular indigenous rapper Olamide, who many fans and entertainers have rated as top 3, didn’t make Odumodu’s list.
The “Declan Rice” crooner said his fifth best rapper is Naeto C, with Vector following closely in the fourth position.
He named MI Abaga’s brother, Jesse Jagz in the third spot while veteran rapper, Modenine made the second position. In conclusion he said MI Abaga takes that number 1 spot on the list of the Nigerian rappers of all time.
Odumodublvck said, “On my list of top five Nigerian rappers of all time, M.I is number one. He was the one that transition hip-hop from… You know Nigerians, especially on the internet, have the conception that hip-hop has to be dark, depressing but that was not what M.I brought. M.I made us know that hip-hop can be sweet, babes can love hip-hop.
“ModeNine is number two because of what he did for the culture even though his style of hip-hop is for hip-hop heads. You’ve to still respect him still. I place M.I higher than ModeNine because M.I can do what ModeNine is doing but I don’t think ModeNine can really do what M.I does. I don’t know but he didn’t do it for me to hear. Maybe, he could.
“Number three is Jesse Jagz because Jagz is the greatest. I would have said Jago ahead of M.I but M.I did so much. Number four, based on respect, I would say Vector. Number five is Naeto C. His branding was so on point.”
