Popular actress and media personality, Ini Dima-Okojie has shared her ongoing battle and struggle with fibroid tumors.
The movie star revealed that she had undergone invasive surgery in 2020, believing all was well but the condition re-surfaced in 2024.
The ‘Blood Sisters’ actress took to her social media page to inform fans of the latest development and said that instead of opting for another surgery, she chose a holistic approach to manage the symptoms.
Ini Dima wrote; “My Fibroid Journey! I never imagined I’d be sharing this again after my last update on 30/12/2020, but here I am.
“My journey with fibroids isn’t over. recently learned they’ve returned. I’ll let you listen to the details in the video”.
Ini Dima-Okojie also expressed her determination to raise awareness about fibroids and support other women going through similar experiences.
The Nigerian film star further revealed her plans to sponsor scans for 20 women who are dealing with fibroids.
“I will be sponsoring scans for 20 women. If you know someone dealing with fibroids who could benefit from this, please share this with them,” she said.

She said she was suicidal because after conceiving her first child, Ariella through IVF, she attempted to conceive a second child through the same route but failed.
Stephanie Coker spoke during an exclusive chat with Chude Jideonwo, where she explained that her PCOS diagnosis was “life-threatening.”
According to the event host and actress, she was constrained to a wheelchair and was vomiting blood and didn’t see her period for a year.
The filmmaker stated that she felt dejected after her second IVF failed and once contemplated stepping in front of a moving car.
Coker said; “I got pregnant and had my first child on the first IVF but the second one failed and I actually wanted to stand in front of a car and let the car hit me. My daughter wants a sibling. I’m not getting back on that flight with no baby. I called my friend and told her ‘I don’t think the child liked me. It didn’t stay’.”
