Presidential candidate of Labour Party in 2023, Peter Obi, has said that every Nigerian child deserves a better future filled with opportunities.
The former governor of Anambra said he is determined to build a society where children will grow into adults, thrive and fulfill their potentials.
Obi spoke while delivering his speech as the Special Guest of Honour at Corona School’s graduation ceremony in Gbagada, Lagos state.
The LP flagbearer said he was impressed by the confident expressions of the kids’ lofty dreams and aspirations in life, which he added will go a long way in building a better Nigeria.
According to him, building a better and conducive environment that will enable the children achieve their dreams fuels his resolve to work towards a great nation.
Obi said; “I was delighted to honor the invitation of Tolu, an 11-year-old head boy from Corona School in Gbagada, Lagos. He had taken the initiative earlier in May to invite me as the Special Guest of Honour to their primary six school graduation ceremony.
“I was happy to share interactive moments with the children, the future leaders of our nation. I was greatly moved by the confident expressions of their lofty dreams and aspirations in life. Their dreams are valid and will go a long way in building a better Nigeria.
“Building a better and conducive environment for our children to fulfill their potentials and achieve their dreams has continued to fuel our passion and strengthen our resolve in the struggle for a better nation”.
