I no fit motivate younger generation – Comedian Tomama declines podcast invitations

Nigerian content creator, Tomama also known as Dat Warri Girl, has said she is not in a position to be a source of inspiration to the younger generation.

Tomama stated this in a viral video posted via her official Instagram page, while decrying the number of invites she’s gotten to appear on podcasts.

The comedienne warned podcasters to stop inviting her for an interview and explained that she does not want to expose her insensitivity like other celebrities have done.

According to her, the type of podcasts she is being invited to speak as a guest involves marriage and she said that she told them he is not yet married.

Tomama further said that rather than her inspiring the younger generation, they are the ones that should inspire the older people like her.

She threw jabs at her colleagues who have appeared on podcasts, noting that she used to think they were sensible people but the interviews often expose their emptiness.

Tomama said; “Public service announcement, I no dey do podcast because the amount of podcasts interview I don get of recent is too much. So I no dey do.

“Sense wey I no get, no be for podcast I won make una find out because a lot of times when I see celebrities talking on podcast, I say haha I think say this person gets sense before.

“So, all these podcasters asking me to come and talk about marriage, I told them I never marry. Oh come and tell us about your journey or come and inspire the younger ones. All these younger ones don’t need inspiration. They are the one that will even inspire us at this point.”
