Young man raises alarm as police arrest him for having soap in his bag (Video)

A young man has been seen in a trending video being transported to an unknown destination by men of the Nigeria Police Force.

He said the officers searched him and found soap in his bag so they decided to take him to their station for further questioning.

In the video which has sparked controversy, the victim showed the faces of the police men that arrested him and said he would follow them to the station instead of giving them money.

He said; “Make we dey go. You see soap for my bag, na small pikin you dey follow talk. Me wey wan dash una money, now I dey pity for myself pass.

Thank God I no give una anything. We go reach that station like this. Na me be the first person wey you go see soap for him bag. (hisses).”

@EvansOchinyere; Then you have nothing to fear. I think you are in good hand cos not all police officers will allow you to make videos while still under arrest

@DJDaley; Why would he be arrested for having soap in his bag, it doesn’t even matter what kind of soap it is, whether it’s traditional soap or not. This is not enough reason to arrest the boy. Police should have better things to do with their time.
