Nigerian singer and songwriter, Burna Boy has hinted that the controversies surrounding Davido’s relationship and family is discouraging him from marrying.
He posited that Davido’s recent marriage is not really a good example to emulate after some fans suggested that he should follow in the footsteps of the DMW boss.
Davido’s custody battle with his baby mama, Sophia Momodu or their daughter, Imade in court has generated a lot of buzz and he recently went online to lament after she filed her counter suit.
The ‘Unavailable’ crooner had on Friday night called her out for citing the death of his son, Ifeanyi, who drowned in a swimming pool accident at his Lagos mansion in 2022.
Following his outburst, Dammy Krane mocked him, saying he now knows the pain his late friend, Tagbo’s mother felt when his son whom he accused Davido of contributing to his death, died.
Burna Boy joined the host of people who commented on the matter and proceeded to ask Dammy Krane to take down his posts on Davido as it may lead to someone ending up in jail.
He dropped a cryptic post: “‘Odogwu too wise’ who no hear go feel” to which a user @BadLieutenant reacted, urging the self-acclaimed African Giant to also settle down because he is above 33 years.
The tweep wrote; “Burna Boy, you should start planning for your future by getting married and starting a family. OBO has already set an example. You’re over 33 now, and you need to understand that you’re not getting any younger.”
In response, Burna Boy said he prefers to take his time as he is not ready to face the same issues that the Omo Baba Olowo is contending with after tying the knot.
The ‘City Boys’ hit maker said; “Baba make I just dey as I dey abeg, u nor see wetin him dey face like dis?”
Another user @RealDreylo commented; “You can’t even answer a question like a reasonable person. LOL. Just big head and plenty beards”
The Odogwu crooner added; “Ok. But between me and you, Shey na betta example the guy use?”
A user, @SunOfOba then asked Burna Boy; “Adekunle Gold na better example?” to which the singer replied, “Ehen! Na wetin we dey pray for be that bros.”
