A Nigerian lady has opened up on how her hunt for a job opened another door of opportunity that she did not anticipate.
Elma Favorite disclosed that she applied for a job as a sales girl and the person hiring took interest in her to the extent that he proposed.
In a video shared online, the young woman showed off her ring after becoming her employer’s wife following their recently held traditional wedding.
Elma could be seen serving palm wine to her hubby during the occasion, and there were other sights and sounds from the wedding ceremony.
The caption reads: “You came to work as a salesgirl.”

Nigerian stand-up comedian, Helen Paul earlier revealed that her former boss tried to discourage her husband, Femi Bamisile, from dating or marrying her.
The actress recalled how her boss called her husband’s private number and told him that she wasn’t suitable for him.
She said the HR manager at work also attempted influence her partner to break up with her because he was a lawyer whom they believed deserved better.
Helen recounted the incidents while being interviewed on The Honest Bunch Podcast co-hosted by On-Air-Personality, Nedu Wazobia.
She said; “My boss called my husband and said, ‘Femi, is it that kind of Helen you want to date? You are more than that. But if you want to just enjoy yourself with her, it’s okay oh!’
“I took Femi to my office then in TVC, my HR manager looked at Femi and said, ‘Look at how clean you are, a lawyer. Why the choice of Helen?’”
