Sensational musician, Portable, has taken to social media to lament about his recent experience with entertainment event planners from the United States of America.
The ‘Zazuu Zeh’ star went live on his Instagram page wherein he informed his fans that a group of promoters in US allegedly duped him.
According to Portable, he’s been trying to travel to America but was turned down six times at the embassy in Nigeria. He said the reason officials denied his visa application was because of his poor use of English.
He narrated how he was paid N3.6 million for an event in the country and that many people had purchased tickets, but he was unable to attend because he was not granted a visa.
To get a refund since he could not appear at the event, the show promoters asked Portable to pay over N20 million to cover the loss incurred.
He lamented that the amount they wanted him to pay is more than double what he received, but he has paid N18 million so far.
