Davido’s personal bodyguard, Segxy, has debunked reports making the rounds that the DMW boss slapped him at his traditional wedding ceremony.
A video which recently went viral captured the music star rebuking him when a little boy approached artiste to pick money from the floor as he was dancing with his wife, Chioma.
Davido waved his hand close to security man’s face aside and scolded him, saying he should leave kid alone. But that action which was seen as a slap made social media users to drag the Grammy nominee.
Reacting via his Instagram page, Sexy described the video as “fake” and stated that his boss didn’t slap him and has never slapped any of his staff members.
According to the bodyguard, Davido was only cautioning him to allow a boy whom he was trying to prevent from accessing the singer.
Segxy wrote: “As regards the fake video flying on the internet, y’all commenting sh*t you don’t know.. My boss didn’t slap me and has never slapped any of his staff before.
He was only cautioning me to allow the boy. The boy in question appeared from nowhere beside us, and I tried to stop him.
Besides, my boss is my blood and family. I understand him so well without a word from his mouth.. 30BG for life.”
Also reacting to the clip, Davido took to his Twitter page to shut down the backlash, and noted that he does not care about what people say.
He wrote: “Note: Fxxk what people gotta say! Stay active.”
