I prefer Davido to Burna Boy – Maduka Okoye

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye has revealed who is his favourite artiste between international Afrobeats singers, Davido and Burna Boy.

Speaking during a recent interview with journalist, Oma Akatugba on Oma Sports TV, Okoye said he prefers Davido because he is a better artiste.

The Udenise shot-stopper agreed with Oma that Burna Boy is on another level, but insisted that Davido is higher than him musically.

Okoye explained that Burna Boy is a top musician and he listens to a lot of his music but maintained that he listens to Davido more.

The goalie said; “Burna Boy or Davido? Davido. Musically, Burna Boy is on another level, 100 per cent. He’s a top artiste but I prefer Davido.

“I listen more to Davido than Burna Boy. There are Burna Boy’s songs that I love but there is more of Davido on my playlist. Davido’s songs fit my personality; they are very playful. I really like Davido. Becoming older, I’ve been listening more to Davido. He is top, top top”
