Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ contestant, White Money, has claimed that his money saved him from evictions during the reality show.
White Money, winner of the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ edition in 2021, returned in 2023 to compete for the N120m grand prize, which was eventually won by Ilebaye.
He said that contrary to claim that his fans support and voting kept him in the house, it was actually his funds that enabled him to spend several weeks as a housemate.
The reality TV star stated this in a chat with TV personality, Femi Daniel, where he admitted that he knew he did not stand a winning chance the second time.
He only about 2 percent of the votes came from his fanbase while the rest was made possible by the money he gave to his team before going into the house.
White Money said; ”I wasn’t shocked because I knew I wouldn’t win. I was the one who gave money to my team to keep subscribing. My money took me that far. People’s voting was just 2 percent, my money took me that far”.

In another news…
Big Brother Naija ‘All Stars’ runner-up, Mercy Eke, earlier revealed that she exploited her on-screen romance with colleague, White Money to go far in the game.
The duo who are past winners of their respective seasons, got close during their stay in the house and at some point it turned into a romantic exchange.
However, speaking on the relationship in a chat with media personality, Toke Makinwa, she said she only used White Money’s name to solicit for votes. Mercy Eke stated categorically that she does not have any feelings for White.
This did not sit well with social media users, including of the Pepper Dem winner as they lambasted her for playing with the feelings of her male colleague.
@Nkegold: commented; This isn’t nice tho but since it’s your fave that said it, let the double standard begin
@daddysgirllover; We are all laughing bcos it’s our fave saying it, let the table turn now it will be a different story…. I feel like we should have emotional intelligence as humans in other to not be deliberately hurting other people.
