Nigerian rapper, Dandizzy has expressed worry over the manner the country’s youths are struggling to survive, get jobs and live decent lives.
The Hip Hop sensation asserted that the country is draining the young people with its failed leadership and dysfunctional system.
Dandizzy, who raised an alarm via his official Twitter page on June 13, charged Nigerians to wake up and reclaim their country from those who are making them suffer.
He wrote; “Bro Nigeria is draining young people and they’re catching cruise lol, gen z no go know when them go reach 40years without anything to show for it make una dey do tiktok sha.
All of you asking me what to do, you have to wake up and take your country or suffer the same fate the other generations have suffered, yes people died during end sars but it’s not like people are still not dying everyday from the uselessness of this country called Nigeria.”
In reaction, @nzemmili wrote; It dawned on me that I could be 40 and still nothing to show for it when Buhari completed his first tenure. I was less than 16 when he became president and almost 20 when he finished his first tenure. I didn’t wait for the second to be complete before I japa.
@JardaniJovonovv; Nigeria is robbing Nigerians of their youth and sadly they don’t know it, so many young men in their late thirties to early forties and marriage is not on the agenda cos of the economic reality, our parents all started families in their twenties cos they could afford to, how dare you try that now?
@Omezuo1; The shock that will hit teenagers and adults between the ages of 17-30years is that by the time they clock 40years, they would have realized they wasted their time on the internet for the wrong reasons. Nigeria is deteriorating everyday and everyone is silent.
@eferogene; If we decide to stop catching cruise, what will change? Your generation will keep voting bad leaders and the older generation will keep ruining the country. Many are just trying to smile in the midst of adversity while others are trying to make a living off social media.
