Vstix’s journey began at Adekunle Ajasin University, Nigeria, where he graduated with a degree in Political Science. It was here that his unique musical talents shone brightly. While at university, Vstix quickly gained street fame as the most sought-after music producer among his peers, captivating audiences with his beatboxing and drum playing at the neighborhood church.
In 2012, Vstix’s passion for music saw him lead the soul rhythm group as the bandleader in the “STAR QUEST” music competition, where his band secured the 2nd runner-up position. This was just the beginning of his musical odyssey. His unrelenting passion led him to become a bandleader and audio engineer for various major concerts in Nigeria, including THE EXPERIENCE 2016 CONCERT, RHYTHM UNPLUGGED 2016, and CODENAMEDREMO live 2018.
Vstix’s career soared to new heights as an Afrobeat producer, breaking the internet after gaining the attention of the African powerhouse music label, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW). His exceptional production skills spearheaded several projects with the label, producing hit songs such as “Destiny” by Peruzzi, “Ire” by Ichaba, “Gunshot” by Peruzzi, “Owale” by Idowest featuring Phyno, “Lagbaja” by Peruzzi, “Ye Mama” by Idowest, “Sunshine” by Peruzzi featuring Davido, “Hold You Down” by Davido (A Better Time album), “Man Must Chop” by Ichaba featuring Davido, and many more.
