Reality TV star, Josephina Otabor, better known as Phyna, has corrected Lead Pastor of the Sphere of Light Church, Apostle Femi Lazarus, following his comment about women without a father figure in their lives.
The vocal clergyman said during a recent sermon in his church that women who lack fatherly affection are often sexually loose.
In a video making the rounds online, Lazarus said; “When a girl has not seen a father’s affection, she becomes sexually loose”.
Reacting through her Twitter accout, Phyna said he was wrong for “generalising”. She used herself as an exaple to counter his assertion and argued that she grew up without a father figure in her life and was never sexually loose.
She wrote; “Well bcuz I can make the mistake of generalising things now I know better. Some of us that didn’t have a fatherly figure in all our existence, I will talk about me, I grew up well and was never loose sexually. Now I say sorry for the time I generalised my opinion.”
A social media user disagreed with her comment on the grounds of her previous admittance of abortion, and in response, Phyna said she was 19 years during the said abortion, stressing that at the time she was almost competing her national youth service programme.
The 26-year-old Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ winner said; “At least I was almost done serving Nigeria as kopa then around 19 to 20….”
