President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after ending his foreign trips which lasted for more than two weeks.
His presidential jet had flown out of Abuja in April to the Netherlands and then Saudi Arabia, but his absence in public spaces and silence on national issues raised questions of his actual whereabouts.
According to the NTA, Tinubu returned on Wednesday, May 8, which is in consonance with a statement by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga, on Tuesday, that Tinubu President will come back on Wednesday.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, along with his aides, will return to Nigeria tomorrow from Europe,” Onanuga stated.
It may be recalled that Tinubu left Abuja on April 22 for the Kingdom of The Netherlands on an official visit.
