Controversial music producer, Samuel Oguachuba popularly known as Samklef, has claimed to have contributed to the rise of the Nigerian music industry.
The ‘Molowo Noni’ crooner said he gave several artistes including Ayodeji “Wizkid” Balogun, Olamide Adedeji and D’Prince hits songs.
Samklef who made the claims via his official Twitter page said he discovered and mentored talents as well as produced some of the classic Nigerian songs.
The producer also said that R&B stars, Simi, Ric Hassani, and singer-turned-blogger, Tunde Ednut were all discovered by himself.
In addition, he claimed he mentored Dami Krane and Phenom. He went on to express disappointment that a lot of people downplayed his achievements in the music industry because of his humility.
Samklef wrote: “I discovered Simi. I discovered Ric Hassani. I discovered Tunde Ednut. I was a mentor to Dami Krane, Flow sick Phenom. I gave Durela his 2009 hits enemies let me live my life.
“I gave Vector his 1st major hits kilode I gave Wizkid 6 classic hits. I gave myself ‘Molowo Noni.’ I gave D’prince ‘Jonzing world.’ I gave Olamide is come back hit song of 2013 ‘Stup!d love.’
“Cause I was humble and quiet some people try to downplay me. Just like utred in the last kingdom I Dey come back stronger. I invested in people and many for them are doing greater than me. God bless everyone.”
