It’s not Palmer’s football club” – Pochettino makes demand of Chelsea players against Arsenal

Mauricio Pochettino has urged Chelsea players to give their utmost in tonight’s highly anticipated Premier League clash against Arsenal.

The Argentine manager downplays the ongoing reliance on youngster Cole Palmer to rescue the team in crucial matches. He calls on his players to demonstrate their ability to win challenging games even in Palmer’s absence from the lineup.

“It’s a significant challenge if Palmer isn’t available against Arsenal. It’s not Palmer’s football club,” Pochettino remarked in a pre-match interview, as reported by Fabrizio Romano. “If I were them, I’d be motivated to go there tomorrow and show that this is Chelsea Football Club, not Cole Palmer Football Club.”

While Arsenal have most of their squad available for the game, Chelsea are grappling with injury concerns, sidelining several key players. Malo Gusto and Ben Chilwell are recent additions to the injury list, while Christopher Nkunku, Robert Sanchez, and Lesley Ugochukwu have returned to partial team training.

The Chelsea-Arsenal clash at the Emirates Stadium is scheduled to kick off at 8 pm.
