Afropop sensation, Joseph Akinfenwa Akinwale, known professionally as Joeboy has shared some relationship tips with men.
The ‘Baby’ hit-maker explained that the easiest way for a man to know if a woman genuinely likes him is if she is ready to spend on him.
Speaking during a chat on an episode of Madame Joyce’s ‘Cocktails & Takeaways’ podcast, Joeboy noted that the expenditure does not have to be on the high side.
Joeboy said; “The easiest way to know if a woman genuinely likes you is if she’s ready to spend on you. It doesn’t have to be anything craazy [expensive]. It can be just a situation of ‘Oh! I saw this shirt that I really like and I think it will look good on you.
“Three months into a relationship, you can start expecting gifts from your partner. It doesn’t have to be something expensive, just little things. A lot of people don’t understand that men are not used to getting gifts so whenever they get a gift even if it’s socks, we appreciate it a lot.”
CorrectNG reported earlier that the music star once told reality TV star, Tacha that his ‘biggest red flag’ is a woman who doesn’t spend on him.
He said if he is the only one spending in a relationship and his partner does not reciprocate the gesture, that is a sign for him to end it.
The singer also explained that he doesn’t want all her money because whatever she does, he would balance it out, but she must be able to do for him what he does for her.
Meanwhile, in another news…
Budding Nigerian artiste, Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, otherwise called Spyro, has said he regrets not finding love before becoming a celebrity.
The ‘Who’s Your Guy’ hit-maker said it is currently difficult for him to find love because he is unsure which woman genuinely loves him.
Speaking in a recent chat with Drip Check, Spyro said: “I wish I had found love before now. As a celebrity, you are scared because you don’t even know who loves you for what you are or who you are.”
On his ideal woman, the musician said: “I am attracted to intelligence. So when I talk to a woman that is not giving me that vibe, I have a big problem with that.”
