Reality TV star and brand ambassador, Victoria Adeyele popularly known as Vee, has stated that dating in Lagos state is now harder and more complicated than ever.
The Big Brother Naija 2020 contestant asserted that human communication is no longer what it used to be and that has affected the nature of relationships currently.
Speaking during a recent episode of Clout Africa, Vee noted that her emotional nature is also another reason she is sceptical about dating in Lagos.
She said: “The dating scene in Lagos is a bit harder than usual. As late millennials, early Genzs we are going for it right now, human communication is not what it used to be.
“I avoid situations before I get heartbroken. I’m a soft, romantic, lover girl so a bit of a balance between the brain and the mind, that is the constant battle for me.”
Meanwhile, in another news….
CorrectNG reported earlier that the Big Brother Naija star, Vee, said being married cannot serve as an insurance in any ‘form or shape’.
The singer recently sat down for a chat where she admitted that the concept of marriage does not make sense to her at the moment.
Vee said love and marriage as an institution do not always co-exist, noting that she has never really experienced true love as she’s just been in relationships.
She said she wants to be in a place where she feels secure, and marriage is just vows’ that people break every day, so she does not feel that it is ‘all in all’.
The 26-year-old musician admitted that her opinion may be born out of the fact that she is young, and she has never really experienced true love.
Vee said; “Being married not a form of insurance in any ‘form or shape’. It’s just vows and people break their vows every single day. I want to be in a place where I feel secure. I haven’t really been in love…. so for now the concept of marriage doesn’t really make sense to me.”
